J.DEMSKY (1979)

Demsky started his creative journey by getting abducted by the sense of freedom and wildness of the
90s graffiti movement. Since then, he has been pushing the boundaries of graffiti and still today feels
obsessed with twisting the morphology of his name in multiple, unconventional shapes.

Around 2010, he felt eager to expand his artform to other circuits and media by developing new, unconventional concepts inspired by the space-time continuum and diagrams, making the observer visualize
and understand relativistic effects, such as how different observers perceive where and when interpretation, emotion and events occur. It is a travel to places where we have already been to but do not remember.

On a more intimate level, Demsky understands art as a vehicle to stimulate the audience’s senses and
heal the artist’s soul by creating unconventional ways of human connection. He has collaborated with
renowned artists, designers, commercial brands and contemporary art galleries worldwide.

Currently he spends most of his time at his self-designed studio, surrounded by organic nature, embracing his ever-evolving world of art.
